PSG were commissioned to create a new flagship facility in Featherbed Lane after Shropshire Council invested £8.5million. This was to allow Sundorne Infant School and Nursery to move from its existing home on Corndon Crescent and relocate on to the same site as Harlescott Junior School, enabling the Haughmond Federation to consolidate its infant and junior provision on a single site. The school now has now expanded to four forms of entry to meet local demand for additional primary school places.
The developers offered one of the old buildings for alternative accommodation and PSG were appointed to carry out the internal re-fit.
The school required additional office space for Finance staff. The front entrance location of the proposed office was identified by the school, which provided technical challenges due to services such as drainage, fibre optic cables, electricity etc.
In addition to the extensions the existing building was also partially refurbished internally and externally to provide a quality teaching facility that will last for many years.
In April 2016 Kinnerley Primary School approached PSG regarding the adaptation of their IT Suite to provide a much larger library provision for the school.
This new 1000m building provides a four court sports hall was designed to Sport England design guidance.
Premises Services were commissioned by ‘Learning & Skills’ to develop proposals for addition classroom block for two new classrooms required due to projected increase in pupil numbers.
The aim of the project was to provide a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Hub at Lakelands Academy in Ellesmere. It will provide a teaching facility for up to 24 children who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
