Steve Carpenter completed the gruelling 52 mile Ridge Walk on 22/23 June 2019 for the charity Sense. Sense is a national charity in the United Kingdom that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deaf blind. Sense connects sight, sound and life.
The walk started and finished in the village of Marlborough, Wiltshire and began at 10am on Saturday 22 June and Steve was one of the first over the finishing line at 6.45am on Sunday 23 June. A trek of rough terrain over a distance of 52 miles, to date he has raised just over £1500.
