Built in 1983 the school has three classrooms around a shared practical area. The classrooms are small by present standards and can become cramped. The school are currently using the hall on a daily basis for some teaching activity, but this is far from ideal.
The new GP will give the school much more flexibility in how they use the existing classrooms and provide a much better space for children with SEND. It will also provide a facility for staff to work outside of the classrooms and provide a meeting room for parents, governors and outside agencies.
PSG have carried out all the design work and have appointed Shrewsbury based builders R1 Construction Ltd as the main contractor. Work is due to start over the forthcoming half-term holiday with completion planned for early in the New Year.
