The school entrance is also restricted with improvements required to circulation and administrative accommodation.
PSG have worked with the Learning & Skills Team at Shropshire Council, and with the school to develop proposals to improve these aspects of the school. On a restricted site an extensive feasibility study and options were considered with the solution provided in two phases.
The first phase is a new 180sq.m building to the rear of the site providing a new hall, servery, storage and toilet.
A separate single storey extension at the front of the school provides a new entrance with refurbishment and reconfiguration providing additional administrative accommodation.
The new Hall and Entrance are being constructed on a design and build contract through local contractor PaveAways Ltd. The completion for both is schedule for November 2023.
