Tweedale Fire Station in Madeley, Telford has been completed successfully without disrupting the operation of a busy Fire Station. The building work included the replacement of all the appliance and ancillary bay vehicle doors and significant associated work linked to the removal of suspended ceiling partially made of asbestos. Shield took asbestos samples away and more importantly carried out air tests at the end of each day to hand back to the Fire Service at night. Richard Thornton, Station Commander at Shropshire Fire Service gave thanks to PSG and the authorities Framework Contractors that made it possible.
