We designed a new demountable food pod building for Meole Secondary School and Shire Services. The pod is situated on the main playground and will provide pupils with hot and cold food and drinks during break and lunch times with the view of reducing queues and waiting times for the main canteen.
The Principal contractor R G Stones (Buildings) Ltd constructed and installed the pod ahead of schedule, allowing the final electrical connection works and internal setup to be completed in time for the new school year.
The pod features automated roller shutters, lacquered cedar cladding, hygienic washable internal surfaces and a cashless till system.
