Following the federation of three Shropshire schools, Long Mountain Primary School required building enhancements including the provision of an Early Years facility providing 24 places for children age 2 to 4 years, outdoor play area, a secure entrance to jointly serve both the EY facility and the main school. The project also required an additional mainstream classroom to accommodate 30 pupils with associated storage, an additional general purpose space, increased toilet provision and essential new circulation required for safe and adequate movement to and from the new areas.
Other associated site enhancements include increased car parking provision with an extension to the existing onsite car park area at the front of the site.
