Cornovii Developments Ltd, Shropshire Council’s wholly owned house building company, has completed its first development and welcomed customers to their new homes.
The Frith, at Crowmoor, Shrewsbury has created 33 new homes through a mixed tenures scheme which caters for key workers and local people.
Construction of the two, three and four-bedroom properties began in autumn 2020. The development has proved a great success with all homes being reserved off plan.
Cornovii Developments is a private limited company set up by Shropshire Council to develop a range of new and sustainable homes to meet the council’s Housing Strategy priority, ensuring people whose housing requirements are not met through open market housing, can access housing that meets their needs.
Our Senior Quantity Surveyor, Lucy Fletcher, and our Senior Clerk of Works, Scott Gerrard provided quantity surveying, employers agent and clerk of works services.
The Frith is a fine example of how good quality, sustainable and affordable homes can be built on a brownfield site using local contractors and suppliers.
