Harlescott Junior School, Haughmond Federation

PSG were commissioned to create a new flagship facility in Featherbed Lane after Shropshire Council invested £8.5million. This was to allow Sundorne Infant School and Nursery to move from its existing home on Corndon Crescent and relocate on to the same site as Harlescott Junior School, enabling the Haughmond Federation to consolidate its infant and junior provision on a single site. The school now has now expanded to four forms of entry to meet local demand for additional primary school places.

Woore Primary School GP Extension

Work is due to start very soon at Woore Primary school to build a new GP room extension.

Brown Clee Primary School classroom extension

PSG has recently coordinated the design and construction of another classroom extension at Brown Clee CE Primary School in Ditton Priors village near Bridgnorth.

Completion of Bishops Castle Business Park

On a new 4 acre site this £4.3m project has provided an extension to the existing business park on the outskirts of Bishops Castle. PSG have delivered the project from feasibility stage to completion working in close partnership with Shropshire Council’s Business Development team as client for the project. The main contractor under the design and build contract were SJ Roberts based locally in Marton, Shropshire.

Relocation of Shropshire Local

PSG were approached on the 3rd March to assist with relocating the Shropshire Local office within the Charles Darwin Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury, to the former BID Unit in the centre, which needed to be completed prior to the 18th March 2022.

Meole Brace School - The Vanguard Building

The Vanguard Building represents a key step forward in building design for us. It has been designed to be ‘zero-carbon’ and is a demonstration of Shropshire Council's commitment to responding to the climate crisis.

Woore Primary School hall floor

The new floor is a nonslip vinyl suitable for all activities and the school are very happy with their new floor.

Ludlow Assembly Room Refurbishment

The Ludlow Assembly Room project is an extensive programme of work which will bring the Grade II listed building up to 21st century standards to make it more energy efficient and visitor-friendly.

Grade II Listed Wenlock Lodge Cottage Repairs, Acton Scott Historic Working Farm

The repair and part restoration of the Wenlock Lodge Cottage was recently managed and completed by PSG on behalf of Shropshire Council

Market Drayton Junior School new windows and roof to quad

The windows around the quad were in a poor condition and badly affected by water and needed to be replaced. The roof around the quad was also leaking and this needed to be replaced to prevent water leaks into the circulation corridor below.

Meole Brace Secondary School teaching hub

Five classrooms will be provided along with a small group meeting room, a staff room, toilets and storage. The building will occupy a prominent site at the front of the school campus and will be built to the highest modern standards.

St Thomas & St Anne's Primary School emergency lighting upgrade

This school became the second premises to upgrade their emergency lighting to Clevertronics Hive XT L10 self-test emergency lighting system.

John Wilkinson Primary School boiler and controls upgrade

All design and programmes were successfully achieved, with the school very happy with their new plant, and the peace of mind of the heating, hot and cold water services are now future proofed for many years to come.
