Work is currently underway at Meole Brace School, Shrewsbury to construct a new 5-classroom building. The expansion is in response to increasing pupil numbers and the classroom block will become the centre of History and Religious Education at the school.
The sloping site has demanded significant excavation for the 2-storey building and retaining walls will be required to support both the grass bank and the building. We have been fortunate that the weather has been so dry recently and consequently the main contractor, Read Construction, have been able to progress well laying foundations prior to the commencement of the lower level brickwork.
