When someone has a cardiac arrest, their chances of survival decreases by 10% for every minute lost without CPR and defibrillation, our aim is to distribute enough defibrillators along with first aid training to all properties across the county, so that we can increase someone’s chances of survival where ever they may be in the county.
The iPAD SP1 defibrillator we have choosen is a tried and tested unit approved by full time paramedics. We have also selected the unit for its ease of use and low running costs.
Each defibrillator purchased comes with a FREE 2 hours course in a central location on; Casualty Assessment, CPR, Use of a Defibrillator (AED) and accessing 999.
