The school required additional office space for Finance staff. The front entrance location of the proposed office was identified by the school, which provided technical challenges due to services such as drainage, fibre optic cables, electricity etc.
The school also required a very quick build and occupation time. Therefore a timber SIPS system was utilised for the office with an external rendered finish with an overall design to pay homage to the existing Reception office built with traditional materials in 2006. The office was also provided with internal facilities to provide modern up to date facilities.
In addition to the office a glazed Lobby was provided to the front of the school between the existing Reception office and proposed Finance office to provide a physical link to the main building but also provide a practical and visual focal point for the front of the school and pupil entrance.
