Phase 2 of the Tannery building is progressing. The additional 8 bedrooms for student accommodation are due to have carpets laid week commencing 6th April 2020, with furniture arriving end of April.
The new Medical Centre is currently at second fix stage and is due to be completed 29th May 2020. However this date may be delayed due to the current challenges that the Coronavirus is causing.
Once the Medical Centre is complete there will be a period of approximately 2 months fit out prior to occupation.
Despite the Covid-19 restrictions, Scott Gerrard our Clerk of Works continues to monitor workmanship and progress at the new Riverside Medical Practice, at the Tannery, in Shrewsbury's town centre. This project is one of the Council's key construction projects.
Scott is using Microsoft Office Teams for virtual site meetings with his colleague Richard Roberts.
