We have received a report regarding this type of play equipment which had internal rot and resulted in an injury to a child. Information from the HSE is that at the moment there are 21 of these swings in the UK but it is not known where they are likely to be located geographically.
The swing may also be known as a “Giraffe swing birds nest basket”.

The advice is, if the equipment is present, the main beam should be dismantled and inspected with some urgency and even more so if it is over 5 years old. Please contact us if you have this type of swing and we can do a visual inspection on your behalf.
